Stephanie,
I am on the LDS_LF yahoo group and just took a tour of your website. It's awesome!
I also went to your blog and read your comments about mormonism. I have been feeling much the same way you do lately. We haven't been to church in over a year. We had some issues with how the primary classes were being run three years ago ... our then 7 year old was literally beaten up during his class two weeks in a row. Our bishop told us "if you don't like it, move." It has been very difficult to want to be there now.

Thanks for this site.

Reply: Yeah I've had problems with some Bishop's in the past too. Then you get the "It's the Gospel that is true, and not always the people." And yet if they are supposed to be divinely inspired to their positions then how do these pedophiles end up in these high church positions? God really put them there? I don't know. I just don't think organized religions were what we are supposed to have. They are great for networking and friends and socializing but for religion, I dislike it.

hi, love and prayers are heading your way every day all the way from China. Your family is beautiful!

I'm sorry to hear of your troubles today on E-Birth, may your whole family be kept whole, together, safe and protected from the awful people of the CPS.

Hi! I was reading all about your homebirth after 5 c-sections. I am pregnant with our 6th child as well and would love to know more about what you did! You can email me at the email address above. Thanks so much and I look forward to speaking with you. I believe that this is the way that the Lord wants me to go, but I need a little more education on birthing the baby at home. God bless!

Heather

Reply: I'm not sure if you have the right person as I've only had one c/s and 5 VBAC's not the other way around as you stated. :D

Hello there!

I just have a quick question for you, and maybe you can answer it... I have just had my first and only depo shot to slow down my endo, because my husband and I would like to start trying for another baby the end of summer and I was wondering if you knew how long the first shot stays in your system for? My doctor said 3-4 months, is that true? Thank you so much!

Amanda

Reply: Yes and no. Manufacturers pamphlet will tell you it can stay in your system for as little as 3 months but for as LONG as 36 months; which breaks down to 3 years. I have and some friends where it's taken up to 5 years after the shot before becoming pregnant again.

Good Luck!

Hi,
Your family is beautiful. I found your website thru the loktsofkids website. I am a lurker there since i aspire to have a large family. I have two young children and I have decided not to vaccinate anymore. My first who is now 3 was a preemie (23 weeker), so at the time i reluctantly felt like he needed to be safeguarded against everything during his first year of life due to his health problems , and I have been very selective with my youngest who is 14 months. I feel comfortable yet anxious with the decision, but i am concerned with their possible exposure to disease. Do you find yourself keeping the kids in the house more often? or are you' all a very active family that gets out all the time? Have you had any close calls with serious sickness? let me know when you get a chance. Thankyou.

May peace and blessings be upon you and your family,
CAT

Reply: I am only really "homebound" during the winter, but that's because sick people like taking their sick children to kids areas in the mall and those places aren't really cleaned all that often.

We've never been faced with any supposed disease or virus that needed a doctor or meds. I am not all that worried about them contracting anything other than the flu, because . . .well most people to get colds and flues but still like to share their germs, but even then it's not like they'll die from it it's just not fun to have a large family get an illness that is contagious like that, LOL because when one gets it then we all get it. LOL - Well for the most part. When Pink eye hit in Dec, it seemed that only the boys (and men) got it and none of the girls.

Scored 'pretty crispy' I think if my first birth had gone better I'd be one or 2 levels crunchier. I tried cloth but couldn't do it with work and 2 babies. Didn't even consider it for babies 3-7.

Reply: I clothed for #3 and 4 but like you I couldn't keep up with everything and CD!
